Our Mission

Biology & Molecular Medicine (BAMM) is a peer-reviewed, open-access international journal dedicated to advancing understanding across basic, translational, and clinical sciences. Our mission is to bridge fundamental biology with molecular medicine, emphasizing how emerging medical and research technologies drive discovery, innovation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. BAMM is committed to transparency, reproducibility, and accessibility, while actively supporting graduate students and early-career researchers.

Aims & Scope

Biology & Molecular Medicine publishes original research articles, high-quality reviews, and case reports that explore pathogenesis at the cellular and molecular level and its implications for diagnosis, prevention, and treatment. The journal welcomes work spanning basic science through clinical application, with special interest in studies that integrate new technologies and foster collaboration across disciplines. To enhance scientific communication, BAMM also encourages creative article formats such as plain-language summaries and AI-generated highlights.

“Open access” means readers can access all published material for free, without any charges or subscription fees. All Biology & Molecular Medicine content is published under a Creative Commons open access license.

Biology & Molecular Medicine is supported by the volunteer efforts of its staff and members. We plan to set up a donation portal so you can help support the journal’s operation in the future.

Publication Schedule

Articles in Biology & Molecular Medicine are published online on a continuous basis, e.g., each article is published immediately once the manuscript preparation process is complete. We publish 2 issues per year, with articles grouped into issues post facto.
